CRISPY AND CHEESY SMASHED KETO CAULIFLOWER
The original recipe that is the inspiration for this keto recipe is actually the popular mashed potato. However, this version with cauliflowers is much better and includes parmesan cheese and pork breadcrumbs. This recipe is a good crowd pleaser, you can eat it with your family as a snack, it is great with beer or other cold beverages. Let's check the ingredients and the instructions for cooking.
INGREDIENTS
- 1 medium head of cauliflower
- 2-3 tbsp olive oil
- salt to taste
- 2-3 tbsp grated parmesan cheese
- 3-4 tbsp pork rind breadcrumbs
- 1 tsp parsley finely chopped
HOW TO PREPARE
First, chop the cauliflower into smaller pieces and steam all florets until tender and soft. Use paper to drain the cauliflower florets well and place them on a baking sheet prepared with parchment paper.
Before baking, softly smash each floret a few times and sprinkle salt, cheese, and pork rind breadcrumbs on the surface.
Before baking, preheat your oven to 425F and place the baking sheet. Bake the cauliflower florets for around 15 minutes. The cheese and breadcrumbs must turn crispy.
