INGREDIENTS
Donut dough
- 30 g Almond Flour
- 1/3 tsp Xanthan Gum
- 3/4 oz Butter
- 1 tbsp Erythritol
- 1/4 tsp Salt
- 1 Egg
- 1/2 tsp Vanilla Extract
- 1 tsp Baking Powder
Vanila Gaze Ingredients
- 1/3 cup Erythritol powdered
- 1/2 tsp Heavy Cream
- 1/3 tsp Vanilla Extract
- 1 tbsp water if needed
HOW TO PREPARE
Use a mixing bowl to combine salt, erythritol, almond flour, baking powder and xanthan gum. Mix everything carefully and nicely, make sure that you have a homogenous substance.
In another bowl, melt the butter on low heat and add the flour mixture together with the vanilla extract. Mix quickly and continuously to combine all ingredients nicely. Then your dough will be formed after 2-3 minutes of mixing. However, you might need to add a small amount of water to prevent the dough from getting too thick and sticky.
Let the substance chill and form equal sized balls.
Prepare your oven heat to 430F and place parchment paper on the baking pan. Before baking, place all donut balls on the parchment paper.
The last step is the preparation of the vanilla glaze. Mix in a bow the vanilla extract, erythritol, heavy cream and a small amount of water. Do this simultaneously and gradually. In the end, you must have a pourable thick glaze.
Before serving roll each baked donut ball in the glaze.
