SALTED KETO CARAMEL CUPS

While making this recipe, you can always let your creativity go wild. In the instructions, you have regular cups, but you can go one step ahead and choose other shapes or decor if you want. Anyway, the true and unique taste is what makes them special. Before starting with the cooking procedure, make sure that you buy sugar-free products of high quality. Let's check the ingredients below.

INGREDIENTS

  • 4 oz butter
  • 8 oz heavy cream
  • ½ cup + 2 tbsp Trim Healthy Mama Gentle Sweet or my sweetener
  • 1.5 oz cream cheese
  • 1 tsp vanilla extract
  • 1 tsp caramel extract
  • 1 tsp fine sea salt
  • course sea salt for sprinkling on top
  • 3.5 - 6 oz 85% dark chocolate or sugar free chocolate
  •

HOW TO PREPARE

Add butter, sweetener, and cream in a saucepan. Put the saucepan over medium-low heat and stir while cooking. You need to cook until the substance turns light brown(it takes about 10-15 minutes). Make sure that you stir well during the cooking.

Combine the cream cheese, salt, and extracts. Again, stir well until the cream cheese is properly incorporated and blended. After you finish this process, set the bowl aside to cool.

Meanwhile, melt the chocolate in the microwave or steam with a double boiler. Stir well to prevent sticking or overcooking. You can also add a drop or two of cooking oil for the shiny texture of the melted chocolate. Use dessert cup molds and fill them with just one layer of chocolate to form cups. Leave in the fridge to harden. Repeat this again and then fill the cups (3/4 of their size) with the caramel. Put the cups in the fridge again.

After 5-10 minutes the cups should be ready for the final decoration. Put the rest of the chocolate on top. You can either cover the whole top in chocolate or drizzle lines on. In the end, just sprinkle a little coarse sea salt for a stronger effect. Put them in the fridge for the last time to harden well. Serve them in front of your friends and family.
