On the other hand, air fryers are rising in popularity because of their multifunctional properties that are often very useful for one’s keto diet. This time we will share a recipe in which these two popular ‘entities’ in the world of keto cuisine with combined forces craft a delicious final product.

First of all, it is good to know that all of the crispy things that we usually love are having their own keto versions. For all of them is highly recommended to use an air fryer. This modern device is better because it significantly cuts calories (up to 80%) and reduces fat. Of course, fat is needed in keto, but most of the recipes include cooking oil and you might also include some certain ingredients that contain a higher amount of carbs or fat (above the allowed minimum). Using an air fryer will help you get the best out of each ingredient and not worry about your keto diet progress.

KETO AIR FRYER ZUCCHINI CRISPS

This time we have an interesting and easy to make recipes with 2 ingredients only. This recipe is good for all in keto not because of its nutrient values only, but because this recipe can become part of your keto-meal routine. These zucchini crisps can be used also as a healthy and rich in fat keto-snack. At the same time, you have an awesome crowd pleaser. You can serve these parmesan zucchini crisps at any time or occasion.

INGREDIENTS

  • 1 medium zucchini sliced into ¼ inch thick rounds
  • ½ cup grated parmesan cheese freshly grated

HOW TO PREPARE

If your air fryer is not nonstick, grease the basket first. Once you do this, add the zucchini rounds in a single layer. Then, add another layer of parmesan cheese on top of the zucchini.

Cook the zucchini for about 12 minutes at 370F. If the cheese is dark golden brown it means that the cooking is done. After this process is finished, set the zucchini aside and let them cool for a few minutes.

For dipping feel free to choose your favorite sauce. They are pretty awesome to be eaten as they come, but you can always experiment with sauces and flavors that you love. When you want to make them extra crispy, you can just put them back in the frier for a couple of more minutes.
