Keto Bang Bang Zucchini Noodles Recipe

Zucchini noodles are probably the best and most common substitution for regular noodles in keto meal plans. Each ketogenic diet requires low-carb intake and that is one of the crucial components of successful ketosis. This time we are going to share a stunning zucchini noodles recipe.

If you search on the internet you can find various adaptations of the regular and popular zucchini noodles who play the role of low carb pasta in the keto diet. Of course, for those enthusiasts who want a different taste and more of a standard pasta version, they can try different low carb options, but zucchini noodles are an easy and affordable option.

The keto bang bang zucchini noodles is a must-try if you are in ketosis and want to try something new and original. If you are an active member of the keto community, you must've already tried or spotted different zucchini noodles recipes. This recipe is special because the combo of ingredients is very special and the taste is rich and exotic. For instance, if you want to experiment with zucchini noodles, you can always give it a try. You can use low-fat mayonnaise or Greek yogurt to reduce the fat, you can add tuna or shrimps to enrich the taste, and lemon (or lime) is always a good addition. 

KETO BANG BANG ZUCCHINI NOODLES

INGREDIENTS

  • 3 medium zucchini spiralized
  • table salt
  • 1 tbsp olive oil
  • 1 tsp finely chopped parsley

SAUCE

  • 1/4 cup mayonnaise
  • 1 tbsp chili paste I used sambal
  • 1 tbsp erythritol granular
  • 1/2 tsp sriracha
  • 1 tsp lime juice

HOW TO PREPARE THE RECIPE

The first step is to add zucchini noodles in a large bowl. Add a small amount of salt and let the noodles sit in the bowl for about 10-15 minutes. The salt will draw the moisture from the zucchini and then they are ready to proceed. 

Meanwhile, prepare the sauce by adding all sauce ingredients into a medium-sized bowl. Mix the ingredients until they form a smooth and homogenous substance. Of course, you can taste the sauce and experiment with the sauce ingredients to adjust the perfect ratio according to your own taste. 

Once the zucchini noodles are ready, drain the liquid and rinse the noodles. Then, you should add the noodles to a large skillet on medium heat. Before adding the noodles, make sure you add olive oil ( it is recommended because of the compatible taste with zucchini, but you can use other oils as well).  When the zucchini noodles are drained out of their liquids turn off the heat and put the noodles in a bowl with a paper towel. Make sure they are drained well and eat them immediately because their moisture will make the sauce watery and ruin the original taste and experience. 

The last step is to combine the sauce and the zucchini noodles. If you want them both hot, you can heat the sauce before adding to the noodles. You can decorate with parsley and they are ready for consumption. Enjoy!
