Keto Low Carb Cheesy Lasagna

This lasagna is pretty awesome and tastes just like regular lasagna. There is one difference, this one is much more cheesy! Make this mouthwatering recipe quick and easy in your home. The ingredients are easy to find and the process of cooking is also fun and interesting, especially if you are a beginner in keto-cooking.

The lasagna noodles are crafted carefully and their taste is quite unique. The layers of meat will give you a true keto-pleasure and will give you the right amount of fats for your ketosis. KETO LOW CARB CHEESE DOUGH LASAGNA

This recipe is prepared in about 15 minutes and you can cook it for around 50 minutes. The cheese noodles are something very special and the cheese dough on its own is something worth taking note of. Let's check the ingredients and the process of cooking and preparation.

INGREDIENTS

  • 4 oz full-fat cream cheese softened
  • 1 1/2 cups shredded part skim low moisture mozzarella cheese
  • 2 large eggs
  • 1 tsp Italian seasoning

LASAGNA FILLING

  • 1/4 cup onion minced
  • 1 lb ground beef I used lean ground beef
  • 1 cup no sugar added marinara sauce
  • 1 tsp Italian seasoning
  • 6 tbsp ricotta cheese
  • 1 cup shredded part skim low moisture mozzarella cheese

HOW TO PREPARE

Prepare a 9x13 inch baking pan on a preheated oven at 350F. Meanwhile, add all cheese dough ingredients into a food processor and blend it at maximun power until you have a homogenous substance, well blended. Spread the butter across the pan and then spread the cheese dough. Bake the dough for around 20 minutes. Then, your noodles are almost ready, just let them cool.

The meat sauce should be prepared in a large skillet where you add onion and ground beef. Cooked the meat until is browned and cook it on medium heat. Once the sauce is ready, drain the excess fat from the pan and add the Italian seasoning and marinara sauce. Cook the mixture for about 3 minutes on low heat.

Use an 8x4 inch loaf pan and add a layer of cheese lasagna noodles. On top of it, add a layer of the prepared meat sauce. Continue with the second noodle- the same procedure and you can add more ricotta and mozzarella. The third noodle goes on top of all this. You can finish by sprinkling mozzarella and parmesan cheese on top of the lasagna. Use different herb seasonings on top to adjust the tase according to your own desire. 

After all of the layers are filled and the preparation is finally done, bake the lasagna for about 20 minutes. Before serving, let the lasagna cool slightly. Garnish with basil, parsley, and oregano. Also, use your own sauces and veggies if you want to experiment more.
