Juicy Keto Burgers With Mushroom Sauce

There are so many options and possibilities for how to cook the best burgers and serve them in the best possible combination of additional foods and ingredients. Today we have another great burger recipe from the biggest keto enthusiasts. 

 

 

 

JUICY KETO BURGERS WITH CREAMY MUSHROOM SAUCE

 

These keto burgers are very low in carbs with only 4.8g net carbs per 1/2lb burger, which is simply awesome for you if you are in ketosis. The taste is quite original, delicious, and memorable. The crucial addition to the burgers that make the whole difference is the creamy mushroom sauce.

 

The burgers are also multifunctional and very practical. For instance, if you cook this dinner for your family, you can always experiment and make sandwiches for those who are not following any low carb diet. Also, your kids are going to love this recipe. The method of cooking and preparation is quite simple, too. This recipe deserves to be incorporated into your keto meal plan.

 

 

INGREDIENTS

 

  • 2 lbs ground beef patties
  • 2 tablespoons butter
  • 2 cups sliced mushrooms
  • 2 oz cream cheese
  • 1/2 cup heavy cream
  • 1/4 cup sour cream
  • 1 teaspoon garlic, crushed
  • 1/2 cup gruyere cheese, shredded
  • 1/4 teaspoon dried thyme
  • 1 teaspoon onion powder
  • 1/4 teaspoon salt
  • 1/8 teaspoon pepper
  • 1/2 cup beef broth (optional)

 

HOW TO PREPARE

 

To prepare the sauce, add your mushrooms in a large skillet with melted butter. Once the butter is melted saute the mushrooms untill they are golden to brown. When they are almost cooked, add the garlic to the mixture.

 

Meanwhile, shape your ground beef into burgers. You can feel free to shape them according to your taste. You can make small ones or larger ones, depending on the occasion and needs.

 

In another skillet add the burgers with a small amount of butter and let them cook for 7-8 minutes on medium-high heat. Do not flip during the process.

While the burgers are heating, in another skilled add cream cheese, thyme, salt, pepper, cream and mix all ingredients well over medium-high heat. Once the cheese is melted, add the mushroom sauce and mix nicely. Once you have a homogenous substance, pour the sour cream and mix again.

 

Once your sauce is ready, finish cooking the burgers. Flip them until they are ready (according to your taste). 

 

Pour the sauce over the burgers and they are ready for serving!
